Inspired by the privileged location, chef Stephane Bruylant draws largely from the sea to offer a French gourmet cuisine that is light and sophisticated. More than just a beach club dining venue, this restaurant is an experience in itself, offering an international standard of cooking that follows the day from the club’s opening at 10am, through lunch and to evening dinner in a stunning seaside location.
With an international clientele that includes many a famous face, the Ocean Club stocks an impressive wine list with quality vintages from around the world. Prominent among these is champagne, very much a favourite among the revellers who come here not only to relax but also to socialise and party. Now famous are the champagne parties, held every monthly on a Sunday. Just a little decadent, but great fun, they attract visitors and celebrities from around the world – many of whom jet in especially for one of the most glamorous occasions on the Marbella summer calendar.
Strong competition comes from a full list of events that fill the summer months – ranging from launch parties, fashion shows, photo shoots and summer dance parties to private weddings and events – often accompanied by live shows and fireworks.
